Gutters come in a variety of sizes: 5" or the 6". Downspouts are available in 3" or 4". Five-inch gutters and 3" downspouts are considered standard. For better drainage due to larger volumes of water 6' gutters and 4" downspouts are recommended. Gutters and downspouts are also available in a variety of colors.

We don't use gutter spikes to hold the gutters on your home because they loosen over time from expansion and contraction of your fascia boards. We only use hidden hanger screws. The hanger goes into the gutter and hooks under the front lip of the gutter. The back of the hanger slides between the wooden fascia and the back of the gutter. A screw is driven through the hanger and not the front face of the gutter giving a clean no screw/spike head exposure. These gutters are seamless throughout, thus eliminating leaks. The screw will hold into your wooden fascia boards for a lifetime if your wooden fascia boards are in good condition.

What will prevent your wooden fascia boards from rotting and keep your gutter from sagging is by keeping your gutters clean at all times. When your fascia boards are getting soaked because of clogging gutters, this will cause problems to the wood. Eventually causing sagging gutters that allows the water to gush over your gutters onto the ground, siding and even foundation adding to your problems.
